Used to be you had to be in a school to see CLIMB Theatre. Not anymore!  See us right here in Inver Grove Heights at our own little theatre at 6415 Carmen Avenue.

CLIMBaret: CLIMB Theatre + Cabaret = Extraordinary Entertainment

CLIMB artists, in addition to touring with CLIMB’s shows, have, for the past couple of years, been performing an in house slam/cabaret for each other three or four times a year.  These CLIMBarets have become an exciting place to experience incredible music sung, played, and danced; to witness spoken word performance, and hear story-telling, monologues, clowns, solos, duets and ensembles.  AND:  This spring, for the first time ever, CLIMB Theatre’s acting company will be opening the doors of their CLIMBaret to the public.

This is an opportunity to see the many gifts CLIMB actors have to share with the community, above and beyond the incredible work they are known for in the schools.

The CLIMBaret event will take place in CLIMB Theatre’s black-box theatre, located in Inver Grove Heights at 6415 Carmen Ave., one block east of 65th St. and Cahill Ave.  This premiere event will be presented on Saturday, April 5, starting at 7:00 p.m.  The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

CLIMB presents Little Plays for Little People on three Saturdays throughout the school year.

April 12, 2008:  The Golden Touch
9:30 am and 11:00 am

This event, for 3- to 8-year-olds and their adults, consists of a 30-minute creative drama class followed by a 30-minute presentation of "The Golden Touch,"  which is CLIMB's adaptation of the story of King Midas.  This interactive tale shows that family relationships and caring are more precious than gold.

Reservations recommended; seating is limited.

Tickets are $7.50 per person.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
